Lights
I have seen many things
Sparkle,
And I'm burnt out on the twinkle
Of fading
Street lights.
I am right to say
That your eyes have brought
Relief.
And I'm sure you, too,
Have seen beautiful lights.
Perhaps we have shared a
Sunset
Or headlights
On the Highway.
Or you see the light in these
Eyes
That I observe in yours.

But I'm sure
That we both have
Many more lights to find.
When you're from Cincinnati
You have not seen the stars.
